News & announcements

It's the most wonderful time of the year

... because, our traditional Christmas celebration (Weihnachtsfeier) is happening soon: Join us on Saturday, December 15th from 2:15–5pm at the Campbell Community Center (Orchard City Banquet Hall) at 1 West Campbell Avenue, Campbell.

It is an afternoon with Christmas carols, presentations from our various classes, the REAL Nikolaus, an exciting raffle and we will serve German cookies, coffee and hot chocolate. All members and families are invited!

We have only limited seats available, so you need to GET TICKETS, INCLUDING ALL STUDENTS AND STAFF MEMBERS. They are available at the SBDS Office starting on 12/1. It is first come, first serve until sold out. (Last year we sold out, there is NO entry at the door without a ticket!)

Check out our Christmas celebration flyer.

We also need volunteers! Please sign up here.

New!! This year we organize both a RAFFLE as in years past and a SILENT AUCTION for a dedicated set of prizes.

And we are looking for raffle donations! Please contact lutz@sbds.org for more questions.

Do you find good Show Tickets and Dinner certificates, they are always GREAT IDEAS. What about employee discounts? Do you still have any valuable items from last year? No junk please, very popular are also items for children (young and old), girls and boys.

We also take CASH DONATIONS and turn them into gifts for the auction and raffle. And let us know if you have great auction or raffle ideas. Please give us your pledge soon so we have time to go shopping.

Volunteering @ SBDS

The success of our school is largely reliant on parents and members being actively involved.  SBDS needs your help and participation!

We especially still need volunteers who can assist with parking coordination, and other important activities.

Volunteer Sign-ups are ALWAYS available during recess time, on SignUpGenius, or through email.

Join our German book club!
