South Bay Deutscher Schulverein (SBDS) offers classes for adults and children (toddlers through 12th grade). Students are placed into classes based on their language level and age (for children). We offer more than 20 classes, tailored to logical combinations of children’s ages and language proficiency.
Each class is led by a teacher and many are supported by one to two assistants. Students in 1st through 12th grade and adults will be assigned a light amount of homework each week to provide additional opportunities to practice what has been taught on Saturday. The ideal time to do homework is mid-week, as this best supports long-term language retention. Students in advanced classes, especially those preparing for exams, can expect a greater amount of assigned homework. Repetition and regular application are how we learn!
