SBDS is proud to maintain an extensive collection of German language books, music and videos in a community library. Students, teachers, parents and SBDS community members have access to our school library throughout the academic year. It is one of the most popular places on campus on Saturday mornings.
The library has a comprehensive collection of German books, magazines, DVDs, CDs and computer software for all ages. The library sets up an account for each student at the beginning of the school year. Family members can check out library items by providing their student’s name. The library also hosts a donation table with German books, DVDs, and CDs that have been donated and are not needed in the library. Funds raised at the library donation table are used to acquire new books, movies and software, and for special projects, such as upgrading library equipment.
Individuals and families without students at SBDS can become community members and have full access to the library.
