SBDS, the South Bay German school, is the hub of the German, Austrian and Swiss culture and community in the South Bay. You’ll find the largest German-speaking community in the South Bay at SBDS on Saturdays and at SBDS events.
Adults interested in becoming part of the SBDS German-speaking community may become SBDS “Community Members” by registering and paying a small membership fee. Community Members are eligible to vote at the Annual Members Meeting and entitled to attend SBDS events and check out books and media from the SBDS library.
Many families make lifelong friendships through the school, and some friendships carry forward from generation to generation. Community members are not only those with European passports, but also those interested in Europe.
