Saturday mornings are a great time for families and community members to check out a new book or media from the library and to socialize with local German speakers. Community members can join any of the SBDS events.
We offer a snack table on Saturdays from 10:15 – 11am where students, family and community members can purchase coffee, tea, and snacks, including homemade cake and donuts. In this way, we share with our students the tradition in German-speaking countries of enjoying “Kaffee und Kuchen” together. All purchases at the cake table go towards funding the annual events, like St. Martin’s and the end of school year party.
