Celebrate Spring at the 2026 SBDS Maifest!
Join us for our annual end-of-the-school-year celebration on Saturday, May 16, 2026, from 10:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the San Jose Christian School (SJCS) campus. This festive event is a wonderful opportunity to celebrate our students' accomplishments and the close of another successful academic year with live music with the Zicke-Zacke Band, student performances, German-style BBQ and field games.
Please be aware that Maifest is an exclusive event for SBDS members, their families, and invited guests; it is not a public event.
We Need Your Support! As a volunteer-organized community event, your participation is essential to its success. There are several ways you can contribute:
- Sign up to VOLUNTEER HERE: We are looking for help with event setup, hospitality, activity stations, and cleanup. Volunteers receive priority access to the lunch line, and these roles are excellent for teenagers needing community service hours.
- Sweepstakes Donations: Help us reach our fundraising goals by donating prizes for our sweepstakes drawing. We welcome contributions of games, art, toys, or items from local businesses such as gift certificates and admission tickets.
While activities and food are provided free of charge, donations are welcome and go directly toward supporting the school. Consider signing up for a volunteer shift. For any questions or to coordinate a prize donation, please contact events@sbds.org.
