Reading in German improves comprehension

Reading comprehension in another language is hard. Want to help your student? Get an age-appropriate book from the SBDS library and read to them or with them. Whether they’re in elementary school, middle school, or high school reading together has been proven to significantly improve students’ reading comprehension.

Simply spend 15min every day to READ a German story or text TOGETHER. If your student is a beginner then USE A FINGER to follow the text. If your student is more advanced then have them pick a book or text and READ TO YOU! Year after year we do experience that this makes such a HUGE difference, and SBDS has plenty of material in our library for you to checkout for FREE!
